How it works

Booking a group table

It is an ordinary reservation, made the ordinary way. There is no event contract and nothing to sign.

Call us, we set the table
Online booking stops at 12 guests, so a party of 13 or more is arranged by phone on (202) 797-0017. Tell us the date, the time and the headcount and we will hold one long table for you.
No deposit, a card to hold it
There is no deposit and no contract for a group table. We take a credit card to hold the reservation, and a no-show is charged at $10 per guest.
Service charge
A 20% service charge is added to parties of 5 or more, as it is on every large table in the dining room.
Tell us your final count
We lay the table before you arrive rather than pushing tables together around you, so let us know the day before if your numbers move. A guest more is usually no trouble.

Questions

Asked most often

  • Do we have to take a set menu?

    Not at all. Your group can order from the dinner menu exactly as any other table would. A set menu is there for the host who would rather not hand out menus and collect twenty orders on the night.

  • Is this a private room?

    No, and that is the point: your table sits in the main dining room, in the middle of an ordinary evening at Mezè. If you want a room with a door, our The Gold Room is upstairs and the mezzanine looks over the floor.

  • Can you handle allergies and diets across a big group?

    Yes, and we would rather know in advance. Much of the meze table is vegetarian, with vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free dishes throughout, and every dish we cook is halal. Tell us when you book and we will guide the table.

  • Can we come for brunch instead?

    Of course. Weekend brunch takes group tables the same way; call us and we will set it up, bottomless drinks included if that is the morning you are planning.
