This is the website of Mezè DC, a restaurant in Adams Morgan, Washington DC. We collect very little, and this page says exactly what, in plain words.
What we collect
What you send us through a form. The site has two forms. The event and catering inquiry asks for your name, email, phone, event date, number of guests, event type, preferred space and a message. The job application asks for your name, email, phone, the position you want, your availability, a LinkedIn profile link if you choose to give one, and a few lines about yourself. We receive only what you type.
How the site is used. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are
visited, from what kind of device and browser, roughly where from and how people
arrived. To tell one visit from another, Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser
whose names begin with _ga. This data does not tell us who you are.
Why we collect it
To answer your inquiry or your application, and for nothing else. The usage data helps us see which pages people need and keep the site fast. We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
Who handles it
- Web3Forms delivers what you type in a form to our inbox. Their privacy policy covers that step.
- Google Analytics processes the usage data described above under Google's privacy policy.
- Resy, UberEats and Square are where you reserve a table, order delivery and order pickup. Those are other companies' sites, and what you enter there is covered by their policies, not by this page.
How long we keep it
Event inquiries, catering requests and job applications are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Analytics data is held by Google under the retention period set in our Google Analytics account; we look at it as reports, not as records of individual people.
Your choices
- You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
- Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from collecting your visits on any site.
- The forms are optional. You can always call us at (202) 797-0017 instead.
- If you would like us to delete an inquiry or an application you sent, email us and we will.
