Good to know

How a private event works

No room fee
There is no room rental fee. Every private event runs on a food and beverage minimum, set for your date, your room and your guest count. If the bill lands under it, the difference is charged as a room charge.
Deposit
A deposit holds your date and is applied to your final bill. The amount follows the menu and the guest count. Your date is confirmed once the signed agreement and the deposit are both in; until then it stays pending.
Guaranteed guest count
We ask for your final guest count in writing 7 days before the event. It can go up after that, never down. If we do not hear from you, the estimate on your agreement becomes the guaranteed count.
Cancellation
The cancellation window is agreed when you sign, typically 15 days before the event. Cancel inside the agreed window and your deposit is refunded in full, within 15 days.
Decorations
You are welcome to decorate the room. Tell us what you are planning ahead of the day. Nothing may be fixed to the walls, ceilings or fixtures in a way that damages them, and confetti, glitter and open flame are not allowed.
Outside food
The food and drink come from our kitchen and bar. The one exception is a celebration cake, agreed with us in advance.

Need the room a little longer on the day? Extra time is subject to availability and may be charged.

Asked most often

  • Can we use the room during the day?

    We can open it for you. We do not serve lunch, so the floor is free in the daytime; tell us the hours you need and we will hold them.

  • Is there AV in the room?

    There is a projector with an HDMI input, and a music system separate from the rest of the restaurant. Bring your slides on a laptop and we will get you connected.

  • How many guests do we need?

    The room itself has no headcount minimum. What we agree instead is a food and beverage minimum for your date, so a small party in a big room is not a problem. Some of the set menus do carry their own minimum, and each one says so on its card.
